        Noble metals  based catalyst

       Cost effective

        Robust in reducing environments – trace O2 from H2 containing streams is ideal

          Light duties

         Useful for O2 removal at ~30°C

Heat of reaction dH = -242 kJ/Mol                                                        

        O2 content should not exceed 2%                         

        H2 content should not exceed 4%

         Inlet temperature should be > 5 oC above gas dew point since condensed water causes catalyst inhibition

        Robust in oxygen containing environments – trace H2  from O2 containing streams is ideal

       Hydrogen removal from CO2 (Dehydrogenation Catalyst)

 

VULCAN Series catalyst to remove H2 from O2 containing streams

          VIG-TH2 and VIG-TH3

        Noble metals  based catalyst

        VIG-TH2 and VIG-TH3 are used in CO2 feedstocks to urea plants to remove H2, VIG-TH2 usually is used in natural gas based urea plants, VIG-TH3 usually is used in coal or residue oil based urea plants, market share approx. 60% in China.


 

 

       Robust in oxygen containing environments – trace H2  from O2 containing streams is ideal

         Light duties

          Useful for O2 removal at ~30°C
